Framework Care About Your Data Privacy
This is a public laptop so while using it you need to take a few steps to make sure any personal data you enter is secure.
These laptops are set up so that when you end a session, all the browsing history, passwords you have entered and documents you have saved will be deleted so that your data is kept private from other users.
To make sure the data is deleted, please follow these steps:
-Make sure you end the session. To do this, press the End session button on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
-If you leave the laptop unattended for a certain amount of time the machine will log you out automatically and delete your data
-If the machine is closed, it will also log you out and delete your data.
How to Use this Laptop
This laptop has been made available for all service users to utilise to:
-Look for employment
-Find housing
-Access health resources
-Engage in meaningful social contact

Most Access4all Laptops run on ChromeOS Flex, a simple, fast operating system.
If you’ve used a computer before you may have used a macOS or Windows device.
Chrome devices (in our case ChromeOS Flex) are different from these operating systems in a few specific ways:
-They do not allow you to add programs to the machine.
-They require you to have an Internet connection to use.
-They have some limited apps such as Google Docs but these require you to access them via the Internet via a Google account.
