Anyone looking for a starter Android phone? Then £55 gets you started
The Digital Inclusion team purchased a new TCL 501 Android smartphone. The Digital Champions tested it out at The Digital Skills Day at Bulwell and the feedback was all positive.
It runs Android version 14 GO and should get all the security updates for at least 3 years. It’s only got 2Gb of RAM so it isn’t the fastest, but it’s a great starter phone. There are 2 SIM slots and the battery can be replaced. It comes with a USB C charger cable, but no plug.
